Why many ppl want to mod there bow to ice dmg? what can ice dmg do?

Conjure frost (elemental ability) to add plenty of damage. Ring of Fire missions, for obvious reasons. Or for the hell of making it cool. For example, an icy eternal bow goes together, a (lightningish) storm bow, a fiery something...ect. lol
